Our first league game for the 2010-11 season is scheduled for this coming saturday, 11th September. We are playing a new team: Lao Hu Internazionale (or maybe this is just the re-branded version of Italy FC??).

The venue is Chaoyang Stadium (On Yaojiayuan Road) and time of kick off is 2PM. Please be on the pitch well in advance (1:30 PM at the latest) so that we can warm-up as a team.

I would like to wish everyone at the club a massive good luck for the upcoming season. I hope everyone can work really hard, work together as a team and probably enjoy a few great nights out!

I hope everyone can work well together and listen to your manager Phillipe in order to achieve a common goal! I hope everyone has a very enjoyable season.

I would just like to thank everybody for the huge effort everyone put in during my time as manager. I would like to say thankyou for all the gifts i received when i left, and also a massive thankyou for the effort put in for the end of season presentation day.

Finally i would just like to say what a fantastic club forbidden city is, and that the senior players keep it like that and all the new players can contribute to such a wonderful ‘family’

I hope one day i can return for a tour or an exhibition game!

Thanks to all that made it to training yesterday, good to see to some old and new faces back and raring to go.

As you know our 11 aside season starts this Sunday with the Cup 2nd round!
1st Division team Shenzhen Development Bank FC will be our opponents for the afternoon – let’s crush them!

When: Sunday 5th September 4pm, Be at the pitch for 3:15pm

Where: Chaoyang Stadium (maps to the pitch can be found on the IFFC website (link below). For those that want to share taxis from down own – meet 2:20pm in front of Adidas Sanlitun.

First off a big thanks to all those that made it out on Sunday for our friendly against the French, twas good to gage the fitness of all concerned..and clearly our World Cup hangover has yet to clear away. But no worries, with training and the 5 aside league having started we all have the chance to get back to our best levels of fitness to once again fight for top spot in both divisions…

Finally a quick reminder to all that both Palace and City will be involved this coming weekend: Palace get an early start to the season with the Cup 1st round (Patrick will be in touch) and City meet the French once again on Sunday 2pm Lido for our last pre-season friendly (more details later this week).
