Summer Palace vs Kozo Japan
Hello Lads,
This is a reminder to the email Patrick wrote to you earlier in the week … If you haven’t replied to me about your availability for the Summer Palace match this Sunday morning 16th November, kick off 10:30AM… PLEASE REPLY NOW !!
Please be at Chaoyang Stadium changed and ready for a warm-up session at 10:00 AM.
As we proved last weekend by our slow and un-organised start, it’s important we are all there on time to stretch and warm-up properly as a team to be focused for the match.

Voting Tally
| MAN OF MATCH VOTES TOTAL | DONKEY VOTES TOTAL |
|---|---|
| 5 - Jason Dorey | 3 - Mike Rahn |
| 2 - Pikey | 2 - Glen |
| 1 - Adam Ferry | 1 - Jim So |
| 1 - Lulu | 1 - Joseba |
| 1 - Andy Mo |
Voting Description
| MAN OF MATCH VOTING | DONKEY VOTING |
|---|---|
| Pikey - great game, with plenty of agression, and cool fucking gloves | Glen - for fuck up in his own 18 yard box, and shouting no more micky mouse stuff. |
| Adam - Great Game! | Mike Rahn - For being on the pitch for 19 minutes and talking for 18 of them |
| Jason - Great Saves | - |
| Jason - Brilliant saves | "Offside Jim" for not being onside |
| Pikey - Played well the whole match (even as a sub) ?? | Mike, so many things; For asking Jose if he was playing next week; for getting twatted in the head by Andy Mo |
| Jason - GK extraordinaire | Mike - MF part-timer |
| Jason Dorey for some spectacular saves and a very worthy clean sheet | Glen - gave them direct passes on more than one occassion on a belief he would get some Korean girl action, but wasn't even invited on to their bus. |
| Jason "Kick, save and a beaut (byuut)" | Joseba - smacking Nassir TWICE at point blank range |
| Lulu - It easily could have been Jason Dorey, he has displayed a very solid performance in the goal, keeping us in the lead in the 1st half. However when the Koreans continued to show time and time again they couldn't finish a short story, his star faded. Therefore, *Lulu* with his game winning goal and fabulous awareness assisting with Billy's second goal and of course good running, can't be denied my MoM nomination. | Andy Mo - This one is always a tough call wioth this group; Adam Ferry and Jose are the perpetual donkey's ass and are always a safe bet, and Glenn telling me to stop playing Mickey-mouse (or was it monkey-mouse) balls after I played the one few quality outside of the foot long balls of the season. A pass which happened to land quite nicely on the foot of a wide open forward which lead to a counter attack goal. Which to this day I'm sure he (Glenn) would still augured, I misunderstood his meaning), But no it has to go to one of my favorite Palace stalwarts *Andy Mo*, After a back pass from me and my obstruction of the two pressuring defender, wherein the referee gracious awarded us a free kick by clearly whistling a foul, preceded to blast the (hard as hell) into my face from a distance of a few meters. What a fucking Donkey, *Andy Mo!* You spineless, Lilly liver'd, impetuous brute. Your a better player than that. My head is still ringing and jaw misaligned, cheers mate. |
Save the Date - X-mas Party
Citizens!
Please all mark down Saturday, 6 December 2008, in your calendar as we will have our traditional X-mas party then!
The day coincides with our last league games of 2008 (Summer Palace playing Azzurri at 10am and City playing Celtics at 4pm) and no one has to play on Sunday. No excuses.
Party will likely start at 7 or 8pm. More details, including venue and dress code, will follow as the date approaches.
Cheers,
Jochen
