Palace,Due to the snow we could not play last weekend, our game vs Lao Hu Inter has been postponed to a later date not yet scheduled.Hopefully we can finally resume our football season this coming saturday, 5th of March. We are playing bottom-of-the-league Chaoyang Park Rangers. Kick off is scheduled for 2PM, the venue is the same as usual for Summer Palace, that is to say Chaoyang Stadium on Yaojiayuan Lu. Who is available?Cheers,PatrickPS: Remember that we have a training session tomorrow evening, wednesday 2nd March, at the Lido (Side Gongyuan), 8-10PM. As we have a lot of players available for the weekend games and that the squad is limited to 18 players, priority will be given to the guys who make the effort to come to training.PPS: If you have not yet pick-up your new kit, please arrange with Jason Dorey to bring it to you tomorrow so that we don’t have to spend so much time to distribute the kit on saturday before the game, cheers. The deposit for the kit is 200 rmb.

Palace,The winter break is finally over. Our next league game, against Lao Hu Internazionale (= WAB) is scheduled for this coming weekend, saturday 26th February, kick off scheduled at 12 noon, Chaoyang Stadium. Be there at 11:30 am latest. Can you make it?We have now a new kit. If you have not got one already, try to make it to indoor football tonight (monday 21st, 8pm Canadian School). Jason Dorey is holding the kits in his office and he’s organizing the distribution. It’s 200 kuai deposit, unless you signed up this current season in which case you won’t have to pay a deposit again but you will have to give back the old kit you got earlier this season.Remember we also have a training session this wednesday, 8-10pm at the Lido,Cheers,Patrick
FCFC Boys!As most of you know, there is an 11-a-side football tournament coming up on the 23rd and 24th of April, 2011 in Bangkok, Thailand!!!FCFC have booked a slot to play, but we have to pay a deposit as confirmation by the beginning of March. In order to do this we need to have at least 12 people confirmed and therefore we will need confirmations of attendees by the end of February. So basically it is now or never boys! Those who have responded before, please reconfirm as to your confirmed interest in attending. Those sitting on the fence now need to make a decision. As a basic guide to costs, see below:Hotel Room – A double is ¥ 260, split between two.Flights – THAI Air flights around ¥3,389. If we all fly on the same flight, there may be group discounts available and other flight options may be cheaper.Match – The match entry fee is around ¥5,000 including getting tour t-shirts made, etc, split between however many players we get.Based on those estimates and 12 players, it will cost ¥ 4,000 before beer/lady boy money. When we have enough people confirmed we will then arrange the itinerary of flight details, deposits and passport numbers etc. Due to people working, students etc. different flight dates will be available and feel free to ask if you have any other questions that you need answers to before you make your decision. Please feel free to invite some other friends that would like to take part, the more the merrier! It would be great to get an FCFC team there this year, so lets do it guys and REPLY NOW!!!Blythe
