After the October Holiday (for some of you) I hope you enjoyed it but kept fit and a raring to lose those extra pints added while watching the Rugby. etc.
Training will resume as usual at the Lido Pitch, this Wednesday at 8pm. With some big games coming up this Sunday (Afrika and Azurri), fitness is key. Be there each week.
For the rest of the season, you can look on the IFFC1994 website as below or see the provisional schedule in the attachment. You will see Palace are mostly Saturday with a couple of Sundays thrown in, and City are the opposite.

We also play in the 5-aside leagues, with the new season kicking off this Tuesday - speak to the relevant people if you are keen to play on a regular basis.

First of all, well done to the 10 guys who turned up yesterday afternoon for our friendly match vs Barbarians B. It was a tight game, and it ended 1-1 thanks to a great goal from Basti who scored with a beautiful volley following a cross from Ben.
Our first league game is to be played this coming Saturday, 17th of September. Kick off at 2PM,12PM NOON – meet at the pitch at Chaoyang Stadium at 11:30AM. Look under Maps for the location

City began with a double boost , first of all Big Jim had not returned to Beijing over the summer, and secondly Ivan hadnt grown his pony tail backThis was city’s first competitive game of the season. Captain Philippe was determined for a good start – “its a new season and its critical we take this game serious” said Philippe as he staggered home from Sanlitun at 6am on Sunday morning .

The IFFC season is fast approaching and the IFFC Cup draw has taken place. Our first match is against Chaoyang Park Rangers, this Sunday at 4pm at the Lido Pitch.
Manager Patrick is away this week, so please confirm your availability now! Captain Ben will choose the squad, with a maximum of 18 players listed.
