Citizens,The footballing weekend saw both teams work hard to earn great results: Palace early on Sunday fought hard to salvage a point from a game they had dominated throughout. Kieran scored the first and Yasir in the dying seconds hit the equalizer to make it 2-2. Palace remain 3rd in the 1st division league.City also took in 2 goals but answered back with a whopping 10 goals against (despite the score) a very good Strollers side. Aaron and Ivan both scored a Hatrick, Andy 2, Ally and Ben Roberts 1 each. (stats website updated). City are top of the premier leaguelet’s keep that form up Lads!!More importantly this month saw both Alex Henderson and Jason Muhl become 1st time Papas, and Baz, just a few days ago become a father for the second time. Citizens,A great start to the season with victories over the weekend for Both Summer Palace (3-0) and Forbidden City (5-0). Palace managed to secure all 3 points with goals from new boys Manuel and Gabriel and old school winger Rowan to make it 3-0 against the young side: Lao Hu Internazionale.City squeezed 5 goals passed the Italians of Azzurri and just like Palace, managed to keep a clean sheet. The goals came from Matty, Ally 2, Ivan and Andy (you can check out the updated stats website)In this game too, new boys Ally, Du, Daniel, Gabriel and Sean all made a great impression.Highlights of the week included: Darren’s wedding, Congrats mate from all the lads, Tom “johnny Clegg” Ludlam’s last game, make sure you come back mate! & Benny Wu the Indestructible finally out of hospital and joining up with the team to share a few well earned…..sprites after the game.
