SEASON 06/07
Dear IFFC-members,
It was a busy week. Last Tuesday the First Division held the meeting about the Afrika Utd.-Celtics A match (see the match report of the final decision). The IFFC and all team leaders who attended the meeting requests to all team leaders to ask upon all their players who participate in the competition to stress a fair behaviour at the field during a match. Not anly bad language is meant, also when a foul is committed do not ask the referee what to do (you must give red), the referee will give the card when its needed to give. By giving the referee extra unneccessary pressure the quality of the match will rather decrease than increase.
On Tuesday before the meeting, I me! t with Thomas from the French LE team for the hospital issue. Next week Thursday at 3pm we will meet with Beijing Utd. For a possible sponsorship. SOS, IMCC and the Hong Kong hospital so far declined. Lets see what can be done here.
The IFFC website is still in the creation. I will let you know when it is beeing online as soon as possibe.

It was a tight match which resulted into a one all draw. In the first half it was French LEs Renato scvoring the 0:1 lead (10.) in the early part of the match. Then in the second half both sides had good chances where at the end this time the Forbidden City FC side was able to put away a goal through Alex (70.) to equalize the match. The French LE stays on 3rd rank while Forbidden City FC ! moved out of the relegation zone by one point.
Celtics A vs. Afrika Utd. 0:3
The match started with a short delay and was played from both sides under not good spirit. Then in the 25th minute Celtics Damien received a red card which resulted into a discussion especially from the Celtics Chinese players Ma Ning and Zhang. The referee decided not to continue and left the field. IFFCs Xiao Xu asked Kable to continue the match, but the Celtics did not agree to continue, rather to start all over with 11 vs. 11 players, which the Africans did not agree with. To solve this issue on Sunday all First Division team managers were invited for Tuesday nights meeting where at the end the Celtics representatives were missing (Sexy FC, Vikings, French LE, Forbidden City FC represented the league decision makers). The referee, IFFC representative Xiao Xu, and the African! team leader Jose were presenting the case. I called Tom Flanagan and also let him talk to Michael of the Vikings as well we tried to call Enda of Celtics C team. After that a unamiosly decison for a 0:3 win for Afrika Utd. resulted.
Vikings vs. Sexy FC 1:1 (1:0)
It was one of the typcal Sexy-Vikings matches were both sides tried to do their very best to bring home victory and at the end the big clash ended with a one all draw. In the first half it was SExy FCs Mirsad beeing able to score just four minutes from the break (41.) the 1:0 halftime lead. In the second half Sexy FC could not score a second goal, on the other hand it looked like the Vikings could not put the ball into the Sexy net until in the last five minutes: there it was Vikings Swedish bull Peter Andersson (85.) to score the 1:1 equalizer and that was also the final result.
X2/Teppen vs. Peking Strollers 2:3 (2:1)
X2 gave the Strollers a tough match to play and at the end with a bid of luck (says Keith Jarman) a penalty decided the match for the Strollers. In the first half it was Strollers Virgil (3.) scoring an early goal. Then X2 struck back Yousuke (18.) and Kigeki (40.) turned around the match and it was 2:1 for X2 in halftime. In the second half the Strollers pushed forward and team leader Adam Kirk scored the 2:2 (65.) equalizer. Then five minutes later it was Mo (70.) scoring from the penalty spot for the winner.
Fortuna 94 vs. Russia Utd. 3:3 (0:1)
It was a good match from both sides. Fortuna controlled rather the midfield while the Russians offence was always very dangerous and the Russian defence fought well in the back for every centimeter. In the first half it was Russia Utd.s Alexey scoring the 0:1 lead (9.) which was also the halftime score. In the second ha! lf Wang equalized for 1:1 (65.), then Russias Sasha scored from a beatiful corned kick (71.) and the Xie Shui equalized for 2:2 (75.). Volodya scored for the 2:3 lead (78.) just three minutes later but a minute from time Fortunas best player today, Dominic equalized (89.) for at the end a deserved three all tie between both rivals.

Beijing Drifters vs. BTS Korea 94 4:1 (3:0)
With just 10 players on their side, the Drifters fully controlled the match over bottom ranked BTS Korea 94. The match was deceided in the first half where it was already 0:3. Drifters Paul scored three goals (20., 36. & 70.) while Ruhi added one goal (38.). For BTS Korea 94 it was I.S. scoring five minutes from time (85.).
China Star vs. Red Cards 4:1 (2:0)
China Star overpowered the Red Cards in this make up match.China Stars Lee scored twice (36. & 44.) for the 2:0 halftime lead. In the second half his teammates Ke (50.) and Xiao (80.) added one goal each while for the Red Cards it was Shun (71.) beeing able to score a single goal for the Japanese.
GAME 8:
Red Cards vs. Beijing Drifters 2:2 (0:1)
In the first half the Drifters had the advantage and scored an early goal through Paul (5.) for the 0:1 halftime lead. In the second half the Red Cards had the upper hand and withing 15 minutes the other three goals of the match were scored: 1:1 by Red Cardss Tanaka [No.26] (55.), 1:2 by Drifters Mathias (65.) and 2:2 by Red Cardss other Tanaka [No.8] (70.).
China Star vs. Beida China ppd
China Star played with Red Cards their make up match. This match will be played on December 10th.
Snickers FC vs. Babarians A 2:6 (0:6)
It was the deceisive first half where the Babarians overpowered Snickers FC with six goals. One goal from Lee (5.), Rob M. (10.), Mario R. (14.), Jiggy P. (19.) and two goals from Bryan H. (32. & 44.) gave the Babarians a 0:6 halftime lead. In the second half the Babarians suddenly stopped to score and it was the Snickers beeing able to score through their foreign player Rarmst. (76. & 82.) which was way not enough.
Athletico vs. Celtics B 2:1 (0:0)
It was a tight match. After a goaless first half the second half conitued with chance beeing missed on both sides. Then finally the man of the day on Athleticos side Wee Man struck twice (65. & 81.) for todays victory. Celtics Bs D. Domerty still managed a goal (86.) four minutes from time, but it was not a bid late and there was no more time to equalize.
Yellow River vs. BTS Korea 94 0:3
Not enogh players showed up on Tuesday night make up match and a frindly was played. The Koreans took the points.

It was a tight match between both sides where at the end the Babarian side came out as a winner.
In the first half the Babarians scored an early 2:0 lead through goals from Ed (6.) and Raph (8.). Then Tumbs Noh H.S. scored twice (30. & 41.) to equalize the match. Then in the second half Noh H.S. scored a third goal (49.) for the 2:3 lead. Then the Babarians took their turn and Phill scored twice (52. & 61.) and his teammate Christophe added one goal (78.) for the 5:3 lead. Thumb Koreas Yo Long Il still managed for 5:4 (81.) nine minutes from the end, but it gave his side no points out of this match.Italy FC vs. Celtics Gold C 4:0 (2:0)
It was the man of the day on Italy FC side ENRICO who scored all goals for another three points victory against the Celtics Gold side. In the first half Enrico struck twice (24. & 25.) within just two minutes and in the second half he scored (47. & 56.) within nine minutes another pair of goal. Italy FC is 100% with 21 points out of seven matches. Cletics Gold stays on rank 5 with 10 points.
Azzurri FC vs. Renda FC 0:1 (0:0)
It was a hard fought match. Both sides gave everything to win today and each side had some really great chances. After a goalless first half the match continued to be close but the goals were missing. Renda FC even missed a PK. Then in five minutes from time Renda FCs Brad scored the lucky but undeserved goal (85.) for the 0:1 Renda FC victory over Azzurri FC
I.S.B. Dragons vs. Hong Kong Utd. 6:2 (3:0)
The Dragons overpowered Hong Kong Utd. in this match. The match was deceided already in the first half when the Dragons already had a 3:0 lead. For the Dragons it was Lee (6. & 61.) and Andrew Seo (12. & 60.) scoring two goal each while their teammates James McCan (44.) and Will Sin (88.) added one goal each. for Hong Kong Utd. it was Sammy (55.) and Johnny (70.) beeing able to score one goal each.
21 C Korea vs. Beijing Rockers ppd
21 C Korea could only play Saturday while the Rockers this weekend could only play on Sundays. Now this match will be played on the 9th of December on a Saturday when both sides can play.
