SEASON 06/07
The season is ALMOST finished... . In each
Division there are some make up matches and as you can see there will
be the last match in December 16th! Now this coming weekend are the
most make up matches as well as the Cup Quarterfinals. In the next
newsletter there will be more info about the winter break and next
years schedule plans.
This Thursday me Thomas/French LE & Jason (F.
City FC) will meet with Beijing Utd.
Hospital. Lets hope we get something there. For the website, its set up,
but there is a server problem with the Internet company. I will let you
know when it goes online.

It was Vikingss captain Michael sayonara match and it ended with a close victory for the Vikings. In the first half the Vikings managed an early lead through Jens (8.) which Forbidden City FC answered one minute before the break with a goal from Nick Otto (44.). In the second half the Forbidden City FC took the lead through Nick Ottos second goal (50.), but just six minutes later Vikings Jakob (56.) equalized for 2:2. The winning goal for the Vikings was scored by Marko (70.). The whole IFFC wishes Michael all the best in Singapore and await you back some day in the future. We shall miss you !
The match was moved to Sunday cause Sexy Fc could not play on Saturdays and then the Celtics could not make it at the end. This match will be played this coming Sunday.
The winless Japanese side took on the table leaders and unbeaten champion Afrika Utd. and edged out a draw. The two ex-Fortuna players Yousuke (15.) and Taichi (18.) scored a quik 0:2 which Afrikas David could level with two goals; in the first half five minutes from the break (40.) and in mid second half (65.). X2 did play good football so far and will have their chances in the second round next year to remain in the First Division.
The Strollers end up second with just twp points behind table leaders Afrika Utd. over winter. The Strollers beat the Russian each half 3:1 and won at the end 6:2. Nan Feng (11.), Mohammed (23.) and Xiao bin (42.) scored in the first half while for the Russians scored Alexei (35.), Mohammed with a second goal (52.), Derby (79.) and Tom Cattanach (81.) scored in the second half for the Strollers while Maxim (46.) scored the second Russian goal.
The French LE had a very good season; with wins over the Strollers & Sexy FC, this time they crushed Fortuna 94 5:2 and stay on 3rd rank over winter. In the first half it was Sex with two goals (14. & 44.) for the 2:0 halftime score and in the second half it was Fabien (58.), Felix (65.) and William (75.) who added one goal each. For Fortuna 94 who did not play good it was Fang scoring twice (47. & 71.).

All looked like a 0:2 Beida China victory since the Drifters just could not net the ball into the Chinese net, but in the last five minutes they did and equalized the match. Beida China lead the Drifters in the first half 0:1 with a goal from Cai (37.). In the second half Beida Chinas Chao scored an early goal for 0:2 (49.). Then in the last five minutes of the match it was Drifters Paul with two goals (86. & 89.) to level the match 2:2.
The Babarians deceided this match in the first half. Lee Green struck twice within three minutes (10. & 13.) while Mario H. added one goal (40.) five minutes from the break. For the Celtics it was team leader Pete Simpson scoring the earlt 0:1 lead (5.). In the second half Celtics Jens Harder scored the 3:2 (60.) and in the remaining thirty minutes his side was unable to equalize. The Babarians stay second rank while the Celtics remain on 8th rank.
Athletico stayed with a perfect 27 points out of nine matches on rank No.1. Yellow River was unable to get a team together.
BTS Korea 94 simply did not show up (only one player!). 1000RMB fine and 0:3 to the Red Cards as a result.
The Snickers FC defended well their 3rd rank with a tight victory over China Star. In the first half it was R. Fabrious scoring the 0:1 (20.) halftime score. In the second half Snickers players Cai (50.), Cui (60.) and An (75.) added one goal each while China Star was only able to score three goals through Li (55.), Ton! y (75.) and Wang (80.).

Both teams agreed to play on December 9th this make up match.
Thumb Korea rooted Hong Kong Utd. 7:0 and switched spots at the bottom of the table. The match was deceided in the first half when the Koreans already scored five of their seven goals. Man of the day was Thumbs Noh who scored four goals by himself in the first half hour of the match (6., 9., 30. & 35.), his teammate Sung Hoon added the two other goa! ls (32. & 69.).
Italy FC swept the Rockers nice and clean with a 0:5 victory. Italy FCs Segio struck twice (5. & 16! .) while his teammates Ruben (20.), Enrico (56.) and Nicola (69.) added one goal each. Italy FC stays on No.1 rank over winter. This weekend we see them face off with their Italian archrivals Azzurri FC on Sundays make up match.
Azzurri FC is ready as well for this Sundays big make up match against Italy FC. After a first half one all tie, they managed to score three more goals in the second half to win the match 4:1. Azzurri FCs Gao Wei scored the 1:0 lead (31.), but just four minutes later I.S.B.s Andrew equalized (35.) for 1:1. In the second half Valerio (68.), Zhai ! (73.) and Lu Ju (90.) scored one goal each for the 4:1 Azzurri FC victory over the I.S.B. Dargons side.
With Celtics B vs. Babarians A having played a narrow 1:2 on the same weekend, theirThird Division representatives had a more clearer match: The Babarians beat the Celtics Gold with 1:4. Man of the day was Babarians Raph who scored three goals (4., 55. & 78.), his teammate Phil scored the other goal (15.). Celtics Rick scored the only Celtics goal (24.) in the first half. The Babarians are with Azzurri FC on 2nd rank, but Azzuuri FC (against Italy FC) and Renda FC (currentlty on 3rd.) have still one match in hand and for Renda FC it is against the rather weak 21 C Korea. Celtics Gold stay put on 5th rank.
